KUSA Domains

KUSA has a diversified profile of creative individuals specialized in different areas with potentials to make notable contribution towards strengthening the role of Kosovo’s civil society in democratic development. In order to better make use of their potentials and demonstrate skills in respective areas of expertise, the members are allocated into the following 9 domains: 1) media and journalism; 2) economy; 3) non-governmental organizations; 4) youth and sports; 5) medicine and health care; 6) education; 7) culture and art; 8) law, order and security; and 9) political issues.

KUSA is in the process of electing the heads of each domain; define organizational structure, criteria of operation and communication forms between their heads, domain officer and the Board. Apart from the tasks envisaged in KUSA’a strategic plan, the domains are expected to independently undertake initiatives at a group as well as individual level. The initiatives are to be presented by the domain officer for approval to the Board, after which the domain or individual will carry on independently with implementation.   

KUSA Board in cooperation with the domains will work on certification of domains and individuals through assessment criteria. Individuals who demonstrate good performing skills and results, will be equipped with a certificate of expertise. The certificate will serve as a good reference to use opportunities in future projects and programs. Another goal of certification is to enable the members to be recruited and work as experts for the missions of various international organizations deployed in other countries throughout the world. In both cases, the KUSA Board will be committed to facilitate and support such opportunities.
